We are Cleared for Takeoff

Hard to believe it's been nearly a year since the last big trip. Vietnam and Cambodia were fantastic and they sparked me to make a promise to myself to see as much of the world as possible.

Well, it's about that time again and we are finalizing all the plans for this year's trip. The tickets have been purchased, hostels have been booked and I've worked up my tolerance for vodka to record levels. So everything is in place for our visit to Russia, Estonia, Sweden and Dave's favorite, Germany.


That's right, Dave is back for another international adventure. That's him from last year displaying his winnings in the Green Room of the Vietnamese game show Name that Pho. He lost out on the big money when he couldn't correctly identify Dalmation Pho in 2 sips. Minutes after this picture was taken Dave spent all of his winnings on a "special lady" and regrettably found out later that paying a little extra unfortunately didn't guarantee him an especially clean lady.

We'll be meeting up with Tommy, Meredith, Greg and Jen in Moscow and traveling with them through Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg) and Estonia (Tallinn). While the rest of the group will travel on to Riga from Tallinn, Dave and I will venture off to hit Stockholm, Sweden and then spend a day in Frankfurt.
